And the key to staying consistent is, well, to have a plan!
Digital Notebook Covers included (4 pages total):
• Elastic Band Notebook Cover (sky, pink, mint, cappuchino)
Worksheets included (24 pages total):
• Introduction to Methods – an information sheet that guides you with the most important tips to start your language learning journey
• Quarterly Progress Planner – a planner than helps you specify why you want to learn the language, what you will focus on in each quarter (don't have to fill it out completely before you start!), and what resources you are going to use for each language skill
• Monthly Planning Spread – plan out each month of language study with fill-in-the-blank dates that can be reused over and over again!
• Weekly Planning Spread – focus your weekly studying in the three key areas of language learning, plus, set your weekly goals and priorities
• Daily Learning Review – a daily tracker to reflect on what you learned in a single day with room for planning your next review session and writing a daily journal in your target language
• Review Tracker – keep track of key points and common issues as you study using the "curve of forgetting" – also features cute EMOJIS to reflect on your exam performance
• Study Method Rating Sheet – list and rate your study methods, how they're applied, and their effectiveness to determine their worthiness in your study arsenal
• Additional Resources – an information sheet with more resources on worksheets to learn your specific target language
• Cover Page – optional to print out as a full pack with space to fill in the language you're learning and the date you started
• Grammar Rule Sheets (x4 styles) – provide ample space for you to write a grammar rule with several examples and exceptions for later reference
• Vocabulary in Context Sheet - fill in the word, meaning, and a few examples as you encounter new words while reading or listening!
• Recursive Definitioon Sheet - when you come across a word you don't know, look up the definition in your target language. Try to guess the meaning based off of the context of the definition before you translate. This will help you develop an intuitive understanding of the language.
• Word Association Mind Map - for words that are particularly hard to remember, put the word in the middle bubble, then fill the outer bubbles with other words you're learning or words you know that would go well with the main word. Then on the outer lines, write sentences that put those words together.
• Look, Cover, Write Practice Sheet - after using the other sheets and/or your own flashcards, fill in the word and meaning in the first two columns. Then cover up the answer and try guessing the correct word! You have three attempts to get it right or you'll have to do it again!
• Antonym and Synonym Sheets - start expanding the depth of your vocabulary by keeping track of synonyms (similar words) and antonyms (opposite words). For example, instead of being able to describe something as "tasty" you could expand into similar words like "delicious", "decadent", "appetizing", "succulent", or "appetizing" or opposite words such as "bland", "insipid", "flavorless", etc.
• Relative Comparisons Sheets - practice comparative and superlative adjectives to become more proficient in describing relative differences (e.g., good, better, best).
